Tennis week in Båstad is known for its folk party - but now the competition, like so many other events, is threatened to be canceled.

- The chances are extremely small, if they exist at all. It is an international competition where players are to be flown in from all over the world. Then it's difficult, says competition director Christer Hult to SVT Sport and continues:

- We also comply with the requirements and restrictions of the Public Health Authority, so just because the ATP and WTA tours give green light, it is not certain that it is possible anyway.

Is it relevant to play without an audience?

- No, it is not. Then the party does not go away and partners and sponsors are not interested in it. It is a little special in that way because Båstad is a summer resort and meeting place. If we play without an audience, we lose the whole program.
