Hertha Berlin's Ivorian striker Salomon Kalou has been suspended by his club for posting a video of him shaking hands with teammates in the stadium locker rooms, breaking social distancing rules imposed to combat the spread of coronavirus.

"The photos of Salomon Kalou in the Hertha's locker room are absolutely unacceptable," said the German Football League in a statement, while Hertha announced the suspension "with immediate effect" of the 34-year-old Ivorian international.
