On March 18, the EFD stated that the damall Swedish clubs aim to launch the series game at the end of May-June. Since then, all parties have worked hard to get ready for games.

- We have had the ambition to start at the end of May-June, and that is firm. It is the Public Health Authority that ultimately decides what goes and does not go. You can forget the audience, we have been doing this for a long time, because it is the public health that is at the center, says EFD general secretary Tomas Hoszek to SVT Sport.

- You have to be able to compete, you don't get that today. You must also be able to travel to and from your so-called workplace to be able to carry out matches. It is crucial for us to play. But we are preparing to wait for the "go" button to be pressed.

"Added as extra rounds"

How far away are you ready to be?

- We have had a group - consisting of representatives from the clubs, the EFD and the Swedish Football Association - who have worked for a month and it has discussed all possible aspects for it to work. It has worked with different scenarios, week to week. We are so far ahead that we have a series order that in the days will be sent out to our clubs so they can look in detail at what the matches are and how they should play.

The Swedish Football Association is responsible for the competitions and has put together the game schedule. The rounds that have not been completed due to the corona pandemic have been added later in the year.

- They are added as extra rounds. In this way, the basic structure is maintained. It is the smoothest way to solve it. There will certainly be some reactions, but it is in such a form that once it comes out it will stand firm. Individual clubs will be able to move matches, but they have always had the right to do so.

Waiting for the Public Health Authority

What stops you from starting May-June?

- That the Public Health Agency does not allow competition matches at senior level, you do not do today. And that the travel restrictions hold. These are the parts that need to be released in order for us to complete the series. We follow the recommendations of the Public Health Authority all the way.

In the best of worlds, clubs would like to have crowds at the matches. But it must wait.

- Some clubs have big problems not having an audience, but everyone understands that in order for us to play it has to be without an audience for some time. The spread we get in the media is worth so much. We know that we will be able to offer the audience our matches in different ways, says Hoszek.
