Last week, the AP News Agency reported that the NHL plans to play the 2019/2020 season by completing the remaining games of the season in a few venues. Canadian Toronto and Edmonton are mentioned as venues.

"One thing we need to investigate"

The NHL has a new obstacle to take a position on. On Sunday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said players must follow the quarantine rules if they are to enter the country during the pandemic.

"That's one thing we have to investigate," says Trudeau, according to AP.

- Everyone who arrives from another country must follow all quarantine rules in an extremely strict manner, but we are not there yet in our discussions with the NHL. It's a possibility, but it depends on a huge variety of things. But I don't want to speculate on this until there is more discussion.

The NHL has had a break since mid-March. There are 189 games left of the basic series, which would have ended on April 4.
