The Spanish newspaper "Marca" announced today, Monday, that the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club won the referendum "The most beautiful club slogan in the world" launched by the newspaper 14 days ago with the participation of 50 slogans selected from around the world.

Al-Ahly came in first place after three million fans voted for it, followed by Raja Casablanca in the second place (2.9 million votes), while Brazilian Fluminense came in third (167 thousand votes).

"The referendum received the participation of more than 14 million people around the world, and the competition was very fierce among the top ten," the newspaper said on its official website.

The irony is that the old European clubs finished late despite their overwhelming popularity, as Real Madrid came in fourth with 129,000 votes, Liverpool came in sixth (75.7 thousand votes), Barcelona seventh (74.8 votes), and Manchester United 11th (29.7 votes).
