Zaidan said in a tweet in his account on Instagram today, Sunday: "Sad news today, we learned about the departure of a man we love so much, a brave and idealistic man."

Speaking of the late artist, he added, "I distinguished my childhood with my family, I will never forget our meeting. Rest in peace."

The artist Eder, who is from Tizi Ouzou province in the Kabylie region, died yesterday, Saturday, in a hospital in the French capital, Paris, at the age of 71, after a long struggle with the disease.

The late is an international artist and legend of the Amazigh song, as he excelled in writing and performing many songs inspired by the Amazigh heritage, the most famous of which is "Abi Yanova", which has been translated into many languages.
