When the league resumes, the New Zealand Warriors team is hit harder than many others.

For the team to be ready for the season start, everyone in the squad has to travel to Australia already to quarantine for two weeks.

And that means they are not allowed to meet their families for almost six months.

"It was definitely the hardest thing, to say goodbye to the family outside the airport and to see my two children leave," says Captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

- Now I'm preparing to be off for five months to work.

Two league rounds were played before the corona virus stopped. Now the league is shortened from 25 to 20 rounds and champions will be selected in the final on 25 October.
