The Public Authority for Sports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development, implemented a community sports initiative, by providing modern sports devices to groups of society, within the framework of the "sport .. for life" initiative that the authority adopts and aims to enhance the concept of community sport, especially in light of the current circumstances, where Domestic quarantine in response to the preventive measures and precautionary measures taken by the State in support of efforts to address the spread of the Corona Virus Pandemic - Covid 19.
These sports devices represent one of the stages in support of the "sport .. for life" initiative, which aims to promote and develop different sports across the community in all its members and categories, under the name of "community sports", where the body aims to support the will and sporting behavior of people of determination, senior citizens and families with Low-income people who are unable to join sports clubs or to buy sports equipment, and for that they are given what helps them to exercise to improve their fitness level, and thus improve their health and conditions of life.
Distribution included in the first phase, the Emirate of Ajman, while the initiative continues to reach all regions of the country, through a team from the General Authority for Sports and in coordination with the Ministry of Community Development, which in turn nominated the beneficiaries based on practical methodology and field research, where the devices are being delivered to those who are entitled to them, with compliance With all measures taken by the state and precautionary precautions to avoid mixing, crowding and gatherings while handing the devices over to those who deserve them.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Commission, Saeed Abdel Ghaffar Hussein, affirmed the rational leadership's keenness to enhance the role of the authority in these circumstances, which requires all of us to redouble efforts to get out of the crisis safely and safely, and to create appropriate conditions for families and segments targeted to stay in their homes to protect them from the repercussions of the epidemic and its spread.
He added: "With the support of the wise leadership, we have prepared plans and programs to support all parties in implementing the steps taken to tackle the emerging Corona virus" (Kovid 19).
This initiative is a continuation of the continuous efforts under the guidance of the rational government to provide the needs of citizens and residents, and communicate them with them in order to preserve their safety and enhance the integrity of the procedures followed, as the initiative is an important step towards strengthening community sport as a way of life to improve community health, embodying the aspirations and visions of leadership in the state.
