The Bundesliga could be the first out of the big European football leagues to restart after the coronavirus stop.

But if there is a game again in mid-May it will be without a crowd.

- I think the plan presented by the German league is reasonable and I support a restart in May, says Seehofer to Bild.

"There is a risk"

However, Seehofer is careful to point out that the teams and players must respect the applicable rules and guidelines.

"If someone gets coronary disease in the team or in the club, the whole club, and maybe the team that you last met, must go into quarantine for two weeks," he says.

- There is a risk that the game schedule does not hold and therefore the series cannot be played clearly.

The government should discuss

Seehofer says the football clubs will not be given any special privileges to do frequent virus testing on players, something that has been suggested.

In three days, the German government will discuss the issue of football restart.
