A news report said that the Algerian police in the governorate of Bejaia, in eastern Algeria, arrested today, Sunday, a football referee, who fought against young footballer Hossam Ayadi, after a series of investigations and measures, and with the help of citizens of the city.

The newspaper "Al-Khobar" revealed on its website, that the matter relates to the knowledge of the victim and his neighbors, who works as a bus driver for university transport and is known to be involved in the incidents of fraud and extortion.

The newspaper pointed out that the perpetrator ambushed the victim, together with a third person, to kill him and seize the funds he was in possession of, noting that the accused alleged during the investigations that the victim "committed suicide." He also led the police and gendarmerie to the crime scene to retrieve the body of the verdict in very difficult circumstances.
