Tournament participants used the Sepang track configuration. Pilots were supposed to pilot the 1975 Brabham BT44B race cars.
The winner of the first race, the distance of which was eight laps, was Juan Pablo Montoya. The second place went to the former champion of Formula 1, Jenson Button, and the third position remained for Emanuel Pirro. Vettel launched already on the first lap, he finished fifteenth.
In the second race, the victory went to Adrian Fernandez, the second was Darren Turner, and the third was again Emanuele Pirro. Vettel finished twelfth.
Earlier it was reported that the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Hungary will be held without spectators.
