British Olympic swimmer champion Adam Beatty is temporarily training in a small swimming pool in the back garden of his home.

My 25-year-old Beatty, the world record holder in the 50 and 100 meter breaststroke races, happily accepts a 5.7 meter long swimming pool made of plastic for training during general isolation due to the Corona pandemic.

The training of the world champion and the Olympics was limited to exercising in the garage, as he ran daily in preparation for participating in the Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed for the next year, and published pictures of his training in the small bathroom on his official account on Twitter.

Great to have a pool to train in at my house! Thanks to my best mate @ edwardbaxter98 for sorting out with @bhtubs Putting some great sessions in without putting anyone at risk 🙌🏼🙏🏼 pic.twitter.com/bohtx7Lxax

"This is not exactly my favorite thing," the swimmer, who is 1.91 meters tall and weighing 86 kg, told the British newspaper Times on Friday.

My home, due to be a father in September, has not trained naturally since the University of Loughborough swimming pool was closed five weeks ago.

"It is totally different to be in the water. I can practice my technique as if I were in a large pool and work to float on the surface of the water and rise above the water," added Betty, who can swim in a pool with ropes against the current.

He indicated that he trains in the mobile bathroom for an hour every day of the week until returning to the usual swimming pool.
