'National hitter' Lee Seung-yeop has been selected as the fourth most popular foreign hitter by Japanese professional baseball Yomiuri Giants.

Japanese sports media 'Sports Hochi' today said that Lee Seung-yeop won the fourth place as a result of voting for the best among foreign hitters who have been in Yomiuri since 1980.

Lee Seung-yeop, who hit 159 home runs in eight years in Japan, has played 100 home runs in the Giants only as he plays Yomiuri's 70th hitter.

However, since 2008, she has been in a slump due to the aftereffects of the injury and was released in late 2010 after suffering the pain of moving between the 2nd Army.

Warren Chromati, which was often compared when Lee Seung-yeop was at his prime in Yomiuri, was ranked first.

Chromati played in Yomiuri for 7 years from 1984 to 1990, scoring 0.321 with a batting average of 171 home runs and 558 RBIs.

In 1986, he was the first foreign hitter to win three team hits.
