Niklas Arrhenius grew up in the United States, and now resides there. Nevertheless, he has always competed for Sweden, and for example took a JVM silver in the discus 2000.
But now it is final competition for blue-yellow. The International Athletics Association has approved the change of national team to the United States, and from 26 August 2022 may represent them. "Been an amazing person"Arrhenius has made several championships for Sweden, and has as best result an eighth place in the ball in the indoor European Championships in Gothenburg 2013. Torneklint says that she is happy to have Arrhenius in the Swedish national team.
- He has been a fantastic person to be part of that national team. He has been a positive and lovely person who has always stood for the Swedish national team. So I'm just grateful that he has been competing for Sweden for so long and has been competing for the national team, she says.
