The French Football Association announced today that it has followed the health orders of the French government to activate the final suspension of the first division season, confirming that its board of directors has adopted an arrangement through which Paris Saint-Germain was crowned the title and deprived Lyon of qualifying for the continental competitions.
The League revealed in a video conference on the "final arrangement", through which Marseille and Reine secured their qualification for the Champions League next season, while Lyon VII was the most prominent loser as he came out of the qualifying places for the two continental competitions for the first time in more than 20 years.
Toulouse and Amiens will fall to the second degree, while Lorient and Lens will rise to the first degree, which will lead to a wave of disputes before the sports and administrative courts.
