Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Football Association, affirmed that the Football Federation supports the national efforts made by the competent authorities in the Emirates to confront the Corona virus, and the precautionary measures and preventive programs that are implemented, with a view to the safety and health of community members, citizens and residents.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi praised the activities of the national campaign "The UAE Volunteer", which aims to promote the concept of volunteering, and the need for cohesion between all governmental and private sectors, and all members of society to overcome this health crisis.

He said in a press statement: "The participation of the Football Association in this campaign, through players, referees and everyone who belongs to the game sector, comes within the union's social responsibility."

Players, stadium judges, coaches, and administrators from various clubs volunteered in field volunteering at national surveying centers in various emirates of the country for the examination of COFED-19, in cooperation between the Federation and external curative services, which is one of the facilities of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).

Among the participants was the guard of the national team and Al-Jazeera Ali Khuseif, who participated in the Fujairah Center, and said that volunteering is a national duty, and that volunteering in these circumstances gives him new experiences. International referee Dr. Ammar Al Junaibi also participated in Abu Dhabi, and the wisdom of women's football, Najat Al Balushi, in Fujairah.
