Ebba Andersson leaves Sollefteå Skidor IF, together with his brother Fredrik Andersson, to become a clubmate with Charlotte Kalla in Piteå Elit.
"The transition feels inspiring and safe in the preparation for winter's competitions," Andersson said when the news was published.
The message came very unexpectedly for Sollefteå's chairman Mia Karlsson, as well as Frida Karlsson's mother.
- I was told by them last Sunday when I sat in the car at the Quantum parking lot in Sollefteå. There was nothing I had felt or received signals about, but I was also surprised, ”she tells Östersunds-Posten.
Mia Karlsson, however, is careful to point out that there are no hard feelings on Sollefteå's part. However, the club had wanted to keep the duo.
- That was our ambition, yes.
Frida Karlsson is still in Sollefteå Skidor IF.
