FIFA has revealed that players will not be able to practice spitting after resuming pending competitions due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, according to Professor Michel Dehuge, head of the Health Committee (FIFA).

"This is a common soccer practice and is not very healthy. When we start soccer again, I think this should be avoided," Dehoge told British newspaper Telegraph.

"The referee can raise a yellow card. Because this is unhealthy and he can spread the virus. This is one of the reasons why we should be very careful before starting again. I am not pessimistic but I am skeptical now," he said.
"The salivary globules carrying the virus remain on the field for several hours," according to Dr. Ian Brierly, a virologist at Cambridge University. Prierley warned against the method of celebrating after scoring goals, shaking hands before matches and exchanging shirts after their end.
