Victor Ahn and Hyunsoo Ahn, who won six gold medals in both Korean and Russian nationality on the Winter Olympics short track, announced their retirement.

The Russian Ice Federation posted a retirement letter in Victor on the website.

"I'm grateful to all the fans," said Victor An. "Knee pain made it difficult to maintain my condition."

Ahn Hyun-soo, who was called the short-track emperor by taking over three crowns as the representative of South Korea at the 2006 Turin Olympics, suffered trials such as being overwhelmed by factional controversy.

Ahn Hyun-soo, who was unable to participate in the PyeongChang Olympics because of his organizational doping scandal, aimed to participate in the Beijing Olympics in 2022.

Johnny Rochette of Canada, who won the bronze medal after the figure skating queen Kim Yu-na at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, became a doctor.

At the time, Rochette suffered the sadness of dying for her mother two days before acting as a short program, but she overcame it and received a great applause by hanging a medal around her neck.

Rochet, who left Eunban in 2013, began studying medicine at McGill University in Canada in 2015 and received a degree on the 24th. She is taking care of patients at a long-term care center in Quebec.

We look forward to seeing Rochet's success at the forefront of Corona 19.
