The European Football Association has contacted the English Premier League and all European leagues to determine the final plans for completing the current season within 4 weeks, asking them to lay down its plans on how to end the current season 2019-2020, after suspending the competition due to the emerging Corona virus last March 15.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" published a report about the European Union President Alexander Severin communicating with the federations, where he addressed letters to the English league, and all leagues across the continent,

Although activity has been stalled since mid-March as a result of the spread of the deadly virus that has killed more than 20,000 people in the UK, Premier League leaders are trying to find a way to ensure the season is complete.

"The National Societies or Leagues must be in a position to communicate with the European Football Association by May 25, 2020, and the planned restart of their local competitions, including the date of the restart and the form of competition," the newspaper said of the text of the letter from UEFA to European clubs.

The European Union believes that the ideal scenario is to complete all the local championships so that the clubs can qualify for the European competitions on the basis of merit.

The newspaper concluded its topic that the local federations were notified that in the event that government rulings will not allow the resumption of the local league of a country, the locations of competitions in Europe will be determined on sports merit.
