The Tunisian coach of the Bahraini club, Manama, Mohammed Al-Makshar today called on the Tunisian authorities to accelerate the evacuation of the Tunisians stranded in Bahrain due to the suspension of international flights.
Al-Makshar made an appeal to the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to program an evacuation trip due to the aggravation of the difficulties of the remaining Tunisians stuck in Bahrain.
"A big question mark. Our brothers from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, the Emirates and Kuwait have returned to Tunisia, Bahrain is the only country that has not witnessed the evacuation of Tunisians," Al-Makshar said.
The coach added, in his statement to the private radio station "Jawhara": "There are about 60 Tunisians stuck in Bahrain, but the issue should not be subject to the logic of money, the number is small but we are in an exceptional situation."
And like most countries in the world, Tunisia has suspended international flights since mid-March to prevent the outbreak of the Corona virus, and has kept a limited number of trips to evacuate the Tunisians stranded abroad.
Many are still stuck waiting for trips to be organized by the State Department.
"We are ready to redeem our tickets and submit to quarantine. The most important thing is that we return to our families, even today we do not have any information when we will leave. The situation is difficult and there are those who lost their jobs and had to leave their homes," al-Makshar said.
