The last record in the hunter's rest was set in 2018 by Magdalena Forsberg, but in yesterday's section of the Masters champion Frida Hansdotter broke the record. The former skier stood for an incredible 26 minutes - but did not look too tired when she got up.

- It was almost like being stuck in that position. It almost felt like knees were stuck at 90 degrees, says Frida Hansdotter to SVT Sport.

How long do you think you could stand?

- It's hard to say, because I think once the acid arrives so it starts to shake then it's hard to sit still. And it's hard to say if it would come in a minute or in ten.

Tested once at home

The aim was initially set for the victory but when Hansdotter was left alone the focus was shifted to Forsberg's record.

- When I beat it I thought I would give up but then my little heir stood and shouted "come on, you have to try longer". Then I drove up to 15 and then to 20, and at 20 I was almost on my way away but then the others shouted again "think about Anja Pärson coming". Yes, damn in me. I have to try to stand still longer and then they said double and then I had to settle for a bit.

The 34-year-old admits that she tested standing at 90 degrees on one occasion before traveling to Greece. Then she stood for a little more than five minutes to feel the exercise.

- Before I went there I thought that I must test anyway. Because I know that alpine and length, everyone has been good through the ages. You still want to know that you can take more than two minutes. Then I felt at home that I will probably be able to stand and squeeze this and hopefully approach Magda.

Comment from Magdalena Forsberg

The day after the program, the tributes have been many. She has received calls and text messages and almost 1000 comments on her latest Instagram post.

- It's absolutely fantastic. After all, there are so many people who have heard, especially on my Instagram and wrote "wow what an achievement" and it is super fun that people are engaged.

- It's almost a bit like you've made a good result on the slopes.

One of those who commented on the achievement is Magdalena Forsberg who writes “Gryyymt strong! Congratulations on the senseless record! ”.

- Magda is such a profile and I have followed her and think that she is an amazing sportswoman, so getting cheer and congratulations from her feels great fun.
