English Premier League clubs West Ham and Brighton reopened training fields to players today, Monday, as part of steps taken towards a possible return to the resumption of English Premier League matches, joining Arsenal, who announced on Saturday a similar step.

The spread of the new epidemic of the Corona virus, led in the middle of last March, to suspend the championship competitions in England, like most other tournaments and competitions in Europe and the world. The English Premier League is looking to resume the season on June 8 behind closed doors until it ends on July 27.

The English newspaper, "The Times", last Saturday, stated that officials of the association presented last week a "project of appeal" to shareholders and partners.

The project allows the return of the twenty teams participating in the Premier League to training within the limits of May 18, giving players three weeks to prepare for the completion of the season.

Association officials insisted during their meeting with the twenty clubs, the need to end the league, which is ranked first in Liverpool.

And there are 92 matches left in the Premier League before being suspended on March 13, as the "Reds" seem closer than ever before to crowning the champions of England for the first time in 30 years, by 25 points away from Manchester City II.

Brighton said in a statement that the club allowed "entry to the external stadiums exclusively for the first team players, for non-compulsory individual training."

"Players should make a pre-booking process in order to allocate successive arrival times, allocate their own area for training, and we expect full compliance with the rules of social separation while doing this, and upon arrival and exit from the facility," the statement added.

For his part, a spokesman for West Ham Club confirmed that players who live in apartments or do not have access to safe green spaces are allowed to come to the training grounds.

"The topic will be limited to one player at the same time, and all training sessions will be in line with the governmental guidelines on social divergence," he said.

The Arsenal club announced on Saturday that its players will be allowed to return to the training center (starting today), stressing that this will be done through strict observance of the health directives aimed at combating the outbreak of the new Corona virus, including social spacing.

According to English press reports, on Saturday, that the UK authorities are planning this week to hold a series of periodic meetings in order to "accelerate the rhythm" regarding the return of sports competitions suspended due to the "Covid-19" virus.

The BBC reported that the Boris Johnson government "intends to hold the first meeting in a series in which medical officials participate in various prominent sports, in an attempt to return to competition as quickly as possible."
The epidemic has caused more than 20,000 deaths in Britain alone, out of nearly 153,000 confirmed and confirmed cases.
