The advancement of the European Football Championships from 2020 to 2021 can add to that. Yesterday came reports that Denmark is doubtful whether the matches to be played at the Park in Copenhagen can be arranged there.

- I'm still worried about whether we can play the matches in the Park. As things stand now, it is "fifty-fifty" if we are to succeed in playing the matches, said DBU chairman Jesper Möller to DR Sporten.

Other host countries that have been rumored to have problems with are Spain (Bilbao) and Italy (Rome).

However, this has not meant that the Swedish Football Association, which applied to arrange matches when it was decided where the European Championship would be decided, has declared its interest in the European Championship.

- We have not had any such discussions at all, says General Secretary Håkan Sjöstrand to SVT Sport.

- Now we just long for the football to get started and then we hope that the European Championship can be decided according to plan. That would be the best.
