According to Japanese Kyodo, in a press release, the IOC has stated that Japan's Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, has agreed to hide all extra costs for the public, where the IOK referred to a contract.

- The website was misleading. We were talked to by phone and the IOC took action right away, says the CEO of Tokyo Olympics, Toshirō Mutō.

The IOC deleted the press release during the week and Inside the games writes that Toshirō Mutō, chooses to be completely transparent with the costs to the taxpayers.

So far, neither the organizer nor the IOC have communicated any figures on costs for the Olympics being postponed. However, Japanese Kyodo News has claimed that it may amount to as much as SEK 30 billion.
