For this reason, he emphasized, yesterday, during the meeting of his Executive Committee, electronically, that the European tournaments must end, but without exceeding the date of August 3.
The body chaired by Aleksander Ceferin trusts that they can finish the great tournaments, mainly those of Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England. But if they could not, consider that the rankings should end the way they were at the time of their interruption, unless the teams have not played the same matches, in which case the points would be divided by the matches of each equipment. The criteria of UEFA coincides, therefore, with that of the Spanish Federation, in the remote assumption that the competition could not end.
On the other hand, UEFA decided to advance the payment of the benefits of Euro 2020 that correspond to the clubs, specifically the 70 million for the qualification phase, which will be distributed over 600 clubs. Another 130 are for the clubs that contributed players to the qualified teams for the final phase. As the Euro Cup has been postponed to 2021, the women's continental tournament, due to be held that year, it was agreed to move to 2022.
