The Interim Five-Year Committee of the Egyptian Football Association announced today the extension of the decision to suspend local football activity until mid-May, in line with the Egyptian government's decisions to confront the outbreak of the new Corona virus (COFED-19).

The Committee stated in an official statement on the official page on the social networking site "Facebook": "Based on the decisions issued by the Egyptian Prime Minister to continuously impose a ban on the movement of citizens and reduce large gatherings, the Egyptian Football Association decided to extend the suspension of game activity from the beginning of May For another 15 days, the decision applies to all grades of local competitions, and all ages. "

The Egyptian Federation decided to extend the suspension of game activity for a period of 15 days from mid-April to its end in line with the decisions of the Egyptian government, which began since the start of the campaign to confront the Corona virus last March.

In its statement, the Egyptian Federation expressed its hope that the current crisis that the entire world suffers from will end, so that it can restore the game's activity again.
