The Nomination Committee Chairman Solveig Sundequist confirms that Anders Larsson has been proposed to be nominated as Chairman of the Employer Alliance. The idea was that the meeting would be held on April 23, but because of the corona pandemic, it has moved to September 15. On the other hand, if Anders Larsson - who has been on the board since 2012 - is the nomination committee's proposal, she does not want to comment.

- All work has been postponed due to corona, but we are at the final stage of the process, says Solveig Sundequist to SVT Sport.

Since 2015 Anders Larsson has been chairman of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. During the day, SVT Sport sought him out for an interview. Larsson has declined an interview due to lack of time and he replies via email:

“I have been nominated to the Nomination Committee. Their work before the meeting in September is currently underway. Before the nomination committee has completed its work, I do not decide on a possible candidacy, ”he writes and continues:

“As chairman of the ice hockey association, that assignment is obviously my main occupation. In this role, I also represent ice hockey in a number of different organizations where the ice hockey association is a member ”.

Lately, it's been a stormy time at the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. Last fall, the women's wreath strikes when they were dissatisfied with the financial conditions and experienced a lack of respect from the top management of the union.

A month ago, SVT Sport was also able to reveal that a police investigation is ongoing with the hockey association. The person who filed the police report was information assistant Anders Feltenmark, who was dismissed on 31 March with reference to a lack of work. And last week SVT Sport was able to reveal that the hockey union is being accused by the union club of island discriminatory salary setting.

Anders Larsson has been wordy about the turbulence and has instead referred to Secretary General Tommy Boustedt.

Solveig Sundequist has taken note of the information and if it affects Anders Larsson's nomination, she does not want to comment.

- I have no comment on that at all, she says.
