Once back on Italian soil, Ibrahimovic has to quarantine for two weeks before he can start training at the Milanello facility again. According to Gazetta dello Sport, he is expected to return to Italy on Wednesday or Thursday next week.

The attack star is one of a total of six foreign players that Milan has called back. The others are the Danish Simon Kjaer, the Turkish Hakan Calhanoglu, the Bosnian Asmir Begović, the brass Lucas Paquetà and the Portuguese Raphael Leao.

While Serie A has been paused, Zlatan has been in Stockholm and trained several times with Hammarby, the club he is a partner in.

According to Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Football Association, Serie A could possibly start again in late May or early June.
