Sharjah Sports Council directed the clubs of the emirate Al-Basima to provide 15 ambulances, to serve the efforts of the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management to combat the Corona virus, in confirmation of its role and the role of its social clubs, in light of the stalling of sports gatherings and activities in compliance with preventive and preventive decisions at the state level.

Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, in a press statement, indicated that the council is keen to have a prominent and effective role with its sports and specialized clubs in society during this period, in line with the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, as the sports field is an integral part, in contributing to various fields. He added: “We thank the clubs of the emirate cooperating with us in this initiative, and the provision of ambulances, in addition to drivers, to support the efforts of the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management, as they will be trained and qualified by specialists by the competent authorities, to deal with various cases, out of our utmost care. To play our roles in society, and to contribute even a small part in appreciation of the great efforts that everyone is making during this pandemic, especially our first line of defense. ”

Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi continued: “This period represents a period of solidarity with the competent authorities and service of the emirate, the country and the citizen, in order to contribute to creating all the requirements of public health and safety for all members of society, especially that sport finds unlimited support from His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and therefore its role does not It depends only in its field, but it also includes the community and health fields, and we must join hands and cohesion and work hand in hand and adhere to the directions.
