Martin Johnsrud Sundby won the World Cup three years ago but the season was anything but good for the Norwegian. The Olympic and World Cup gold medalist did not manage to get up on the podium once and during the long course of the Ski Tour in February Sundby got the finish first as the 20th man.
But nothing has lowered Johnsrud Sundby's motivation - quite the contrary.

It is currently unclear whether the corona pandemic will affect the upcoming ski season. But Johnsrud Sundby reckons that may be the case.
- We are currently in a planning phase but we do not know what we are planning for. There are no planned collections until the end of August.
- We also don't know what the upcoming racing season looks like. We have very little control over what happens. But I optimize my training so that I continue to develop, and we see how it is.
