Al-Ahly management submitted a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association to claim their rights with the player Abdullah Al-Saeed after the latter broke his contract with the Saudi Al-Ahly club and returned to join the Egyptian club (Pyramids) without Al-Ahly receiving the value of the penalty clause stipulated in the tripartite contract between him and the people of Jeddah and the player When Al-Saeed moved to the Saudi club two years ago.

Al-Ahly club said on its official website today, Saturday, that his complaint to the Egyptian Federation came after he received a response from FIFA (FIFA) that he was no longer entrusted with resolving the dispute concerning the club's dues because the player is currently in the ranks of an Egyptian club, and therefore the matter became an internal affair and the one responsible for it is the Egyptian Federation for football.

FIFA's response also included that he had explored the position of his Saudi grandfather regarding the crisis, which stated that the player had canceled his contract and joined the Egyptian Pyramids club, "and that is why the management of the Egyptian club Al-Ahly submitted the aforementioned complaint to the Football Association to preserve the club's rights, especially since the administration had resorted Since the beginning of the Football Association regarding the same crisis, his response came quickly that he is not responsible for settling this dispute because there is an external party and he is the family of his Saudi grandfather; therefore the club resorted to FIFA, and received the response that was previously mentioned.

Al-Ahly’s administration was keen to support the complaint submitted to the Egyptian Federation with a copy of the triple contract, which stipulated in one of its main clauses that “the player is not entitled to join any Egyptian club throughout his contract with Al-Ahly Jeddah, and in case of violation of that, the Al-Ahly club will receive a penalty clause of $ 2 million.”

The complaint was also strengthened by the correspondence received from FIFA in this regard, "which clearly indicated the club's right to claim its rights to present its complaint to the Egyptian Football Association after the player joined an Egyptian club in violation of the terms of his sale to the Saudi club."
