Al-Ahly Club, holder of the Egyptian Premier League title, confirmed that it filed another complaint against its former player, Abdullah Al-Saeed, in the latest episode of a long dispute between the two sides.

And he left Al-Ahly in 2018, to move to Saudi Al-Ahly, before joining Pyramids last year in the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Ahly submitted a complaint before the FIFA Conflict Resolution Committee against Al-Saeed, claiming that he did not obtain the value of a penal clause stipulated in his contract with Al-Ahly if he joined an Egyptian club other than Al-Ahly.

But Al-Ahly said in a statement today, Saturday, that FIFA had informed him that it "is no longer entrusted with resolving the dispute regarding the club's dues, because the player is currently in the ranks of an Egyptian club."

"Al-Ahly added," FIFA's response, which the club also received, included exploring the Saudi Al-Ahly stance towards the crisis, and stated that the player was the one who broke his contract and joined the Egyptian Pyramids club.

"Therefore, the club’s administration lodged a complaint again to the Football Association to preserve the rights of Al-Ahly, especially since the administration has resorted from the beginning to the Football Association regarding the same crisis and its response came quickly that it is not responsible for resolving this conflict, due to the presence of an external party, which is Al-Ahly Saudi."

Al-Ahly said that the contract concluded with Al-Saeed and Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia stipulated that he was not eligible to join any Egyptian club throughout his contract with the club located in Jeddah, and “in case of violation of that, Al-Ahly receives a penalty clause of two million dollars.”

Al-Ahly announced in March 2018 that Al-Saeed's contract would be extended for two seasons, before deciding in a sudden move after a few days, he would sell it to the Saudi Al-Ahly club as of the following season, and loan it to Cuban Paluciura of Finland for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.

The happy playmaker, 34, joined Al-Ahly in 2011 from his local Ismaili competitor, and scored with him more than 50 goals in nearly 200 games with the Cairo club.
