The European Football Union (UEFA) will meet its member federations on videoconference on Tuesday to take stock of the future of competitions suspended in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, before a meeting of its executive committee two days later, a announced the proceeding Thursday.

In a statement, UEFA announced next Tuesday that it will hold an "information session for the general secretaries of the 55 member associations of UEFA" to examine "developments concerning national competitions and European competitions ”.

Then "the UEFA executive committee will meet by videoconference on Thursday 23 April to take stock of the situation and discuss the latest developments concerning the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on European football," the European confederation wrote. Another meeting was already scheduled next Wednesday between UEFA, the European Association of Clubs (ECA) and representatives of the Leagues organizing the major national championships.

The Champions League and the Europa League were interrupted at the knockout stage, the women's C1 at the quarterfinal stage.
