The Football Association announced during its meeting yesterday, through the video communication system, that it is following with the relevant authorities in the country the latest health developments related to the new epidemic of Corona (Covid 19), and the great efforts made by the state to limit its spread.

The Football Association said in a press statement: “After evaluating the situation with the competent authorities, it was decided to extend the suspension of sports activity from its date until further notice as a precautionary measure, provided that the situation is constantly evaluated and reviewed.”

The Football Association pointed out that "the decision includes all the competitions organized by the Football Association, the Professional League, and the activities of the national teams, in addition to the women's football committees, gyms, private academies, and others."

The coordination team, which was recently formed by the Football Association, headed by the first vice-president of the Federation, President of the Professional League, Abdullah Al-Junaibi, presented the recommendations and proposals that he reached to the Federation's Board of Directors.

The Football Association decided to suspend sports activity since March 15, due to current health developments.
