The Emirates Football Association organized a workshop for the annual stages competitions for the new sports season 2020-2021, with a visual communication system, with the participation of representatives of all clubs, including technical managers and supervisors of the stages of the sector.
The Chairman of the Competitions Committee, Ahmed bin Darwish, affirmed the keenness of the Football Association, headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, to develop competitions for the Sunni stages, through continuous and continuous communication with the clubs and consulting with them regarding these competitions.

The first item of the workshop agenda included discussion of the Sunni groups for youth competitions under 19 years, and the youths under 16 and 17 years, and the youths under 12, 13, 14 and 15 years, and clubs representatives were consulted about maintaining or modifying these age groups, in a manner that does not contradict the recent amendments. For Sunni group competitions organized by the Asian Confederation.

The numbers of players registered in each age group for the current sports season were reviewed, and all opinions and proposals were heard in making any amendments to them, and ensuring that all players in each team and age group are taken advantage of, provided that this does not represent any additional burdens on the clubs.
The workshop discussed the system of competitions of the Sunni stages and their starting times, and the distribution of matches throughout the season, where the club's comments were heard on the challenges they faced during the previous period and discussed appropriate solutions to overcome these challenges.

The discussion touched on the participation of players of the Sunni stages in the higher age groups, the participation of resident players and state-borns in the matches of the competitions of the Sunni stages and all organizational matters for matches and the responsibility of clubs and the Football Association in organizing and supervising the matches, the availability of security and safety standards in all stadiums hosting the matches, and the number of permits allowed for each team According to the rules of each competition, the timing of matches and the official ball of competitions.

The Competitions Department asked the participants to send their suggestions and observations on the technical aspects of the competitions in writing and formally to the Football Association in order to study it, and present it to the committee to make the appropriate decisions to serve these competitions.
