The national team merited the right sex debuted for Sävehof in 2015 and in total there were three SM gold and one SM silver with the club.

- After five years at the club, it's time for me to take on a new challenge. I am very happy with what I have experienced in the Sävehof shirt. I have had absolutely fantastic teammates and met many wonderful and committed people in and around the club, says Emma Ekenman Fernis to Sävehof's website.

No new club address is currently ready but for the Gothenburg Post, the 23-year-old, who has had injury problems, says that games abroad attract.

- I have always strived to get a test on the professional life and it comes pretty timely now that my foot is much better. It feels right in time for me to leave and test something new, she says.

Ekenman Fernis has played 34 A-country matches and played the European Championships 2016 and the World Cup 2017 for Sweden.
