VFLA adopted anti-doping criteria for the formation of the national teams of Russia

According to the head of the VFLA anti-doping committee, Eduard Bezuglov, the VFLA head coach will work with these criteria.

“The order will be this: the VFLA anti-doping coordinator will check the national team’s lists in accordance with the criteria and identify those who, so to speak, do not go through them. We will make a request to RUSADA to confirm this information. The final list of those who did not meet the criteria will be sent to the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, ”Bezuglov said.

He also noted that athletes and specialists who did not meet the criteria will not be able to participate in the training camp and get into the national teams for three years.

It was previously reported that the World Championships in Athletics was postponed from 2021 to 2022.
