The Alpine World Cup looked long to end in Kranjska Gora. Alexis Pinturault, who finished second in the World Cup, had hoped to get up to first place and take home the total. But Kranjska Gora was canceled and the Norwegian, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, won the overall World Cup.

- Then I was upset. It felt strange when several races were stopped in succession. It felt like I wasn't done with the season. But then it was pretty easy to accept the situation because of the circumstances with covid 19, Pinturault told AFP news agency.

"Lacks a little glow of life"

The Frenchman has not set his focus on next season yet. He has difficulty with motivation.

- It's a little premature, at the same time as the end of last season felt like a real bang, says Pinturault and continues:

- Also add that we all lack some glow of life. We are at home and we do not have much to do. We try to find things, but in the end we spend a lot of hours locked in four ways. So, finding motivation is not easy.

At the moment it is difficult to ski because the ski resorts in France are closed.

- You do not forget how to do, but you need your ski days. It takes four to five days in each discipline to maintain a good level. It's not a lot of physical exercise now. But we need to get started on April 15, says the 29-year-old Frenchman.
