The Marseillais in solidarity with the nursing staff. As part of the campaign to fight the coronavirus, Olympique de Marseille announced this Saturday that it will make available the VĂ©lodrome stadium and its Commanderie training center, for a screening campaign during deconfinement in particular.

In a press release on its website, OM specifies that its infrastructure could also be used to house medical staff, store equipment or food, or even ensure "the distribution of materials and goods to suffering individuals".

Marseille thanks these "everyday heroes"

The club recalls that "efforts for greater solidarity and unity are more necessary than ever as the most difficult days approach with the arrival of the peak of the epidemic". OM also repeated in this press release its strong tribute to the nursing staff, these "everyday heroes".

For the past week already, every evening at 8 p.m., the VĂ©lodrome has been lit up to greet these staff and the stadium's sound system has been broadcasting the famous "Aux Armes, We are the Marseillais", the song of the Olympian supporters.
