British media reported that the plane of Argentine star Lionel Messi made an emergency landing at the "Zavantem" airport in Brussels Friday morning after discovering problems with the landing gear.
The Sun newspaper pointed out that it is not clear whether the Barcelona star was on the plane that was heading to Tenerife.
She noted that Brussels Airport refuses to give any information about people on board the special Messi plane that landed, due to the General Data Protection Act (GDPR), which is stipulated by the European Union, to protect the privacy of people.
