The torch of the Tokyo Olympics, which has been postponed to the next year, has begun to be displayed at J Village, a soccer facility in Fukushima Prefecture, from the 2nd. The viewing is limited to a short time, and the exhibition is designed to prevent infection of the new coronavirus.

At the J Village in Fukushima Prefecture, the torch relay of the Tokyo Olympics was scheduled to start last month on 26th.

However, the tournament and torch relay have been postponed, and the torch will be kept in the country until next year, and J Village has been selected as the first exhibition site.

The torch exhibition began at 9 am on the 2nd, and local parents and children came to see the flames in the lantern and take pictures immediately.

The viewer needs to wear a mask and perform hand alcohol disinfection.

The viewing time is limited to 30 seconds, and when many people gather, they are laid out at intervals.

A man in his 40s from Naraha-cho, local, said, "The torch relay has been postponed, but it's nice to see it up close. I'm glad to have the torch in Fukushima."

The torch will be on display on the first floor of the J-Village center house from 9am to 4pm until 30th of this month.
