On Wednesday, the Public Health Authority first came out with a recommendation to conduct training games, competitions and cups - something that also caused the Swedish Football Association to "strongly" discourage such activity.

Later in the evening, however, state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell made the recommendation and told SVT that it is possible to play training matches, as long as they are adapted to minimize the spread of infection.

At Thursday's press conference he tried to clarify:

- We still think that, above all, young people can do their sport, be outdoors and can be physically active.

But it is important to avoid close contact in training, be outdoors and follow the recommendations of not being more than 50 people at the same time.

Tegnell told us that he had a dialogue with the Swedish Sports Federation (RF):

- They are probably in to a considerable extent to postpone competition matches and such that lies in all kinds of series and cups and the like.

Among other things, to stop travel and thus the spread of infection within the country.

- Above all, it should not mean a lot of traveling between different parts of the country.
