Iranian discus hero Esan Hadadi was confirmed by Corona19.

Iran news agency Tastim said, "Hadadi went into self-containment in Tehran, where he is at home after he showed positive Corona19 positives."

Hadadi trains in the United States, but Corona19 is known to be infected in Iran.

Hadadi, 35, won the silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics discus, and was the first Iranian athlete to wear an Olympic medal.

He has also been named a medal candidate for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
