Argentine Paulo Dybala, the star of the Italian Juventus soccer team, has said that he is recovering from infection with the new Corona virus, and is preparing to return to training. "I feel a lot better after the strong symptoms I have had in the past two days," Dybala told Juventus channel today, speaking from his home. Today I have no symptoms, I can move around and try to resume the exercises.
He added that when he had been trying to train in the past days, he was feeling tired quickly, and that he had no strength to do anything. He stressed: After five minutes, I feel tired and pain in the muscles, so I had to stop, but I am currently in better health and my girlfriend as well.
Dybala, 26, was the third player to show a positive test result for JVVV, who confirmed that he had tested all of his players.
Juventus defender Daniele Rogani was the first player to be infected with the virus in Serie A on March 11, six days before his team-mate Blaise Matuidi.
16 Serie A players are sick, including seven from Sampdoria. Fiorentina, Verona, Milan and Atalanta clubs reported cases of infection. No severe symptoms were reported.
As Italy closed the country from March 9th, football officials are discussing plans to resume the season, as Juventus top the league table by a point ahead of Lazio, with 12 matches remaining at the end of the competition.
