Al-Hosani, who completed his university studies and obtained a BA in the field of media and public relations, told «Emirates Today»: “The main purpose of the idea is to educate simple audiences with the laws and not to defend referees or officials in the Football Association, as I collect information by returning to the arbitration law and conducted Telephone calls with some of the referees and a number of those who have experience in the field of arbitration, before he produced the educational video in which he explained the reasons behind the decision of the match decision to be the subject of controversy.
Al-Hosani had undergone formal courses in the Football Association that were sufficient for him to enter the arbitration corps, but he preferred to create his own space by calculating "Antekaz".
Al-Hosani added: “I think my platform has so far been successful, especially as it attracts attention because I explain the controversial cases in the matches.” He added: “I want to continue to clarify the law to the masses, because the judges of the stadiums cannot speak in the media to clarify their point of view, so I I play this role, I have no interest in it but only the passion that drives me to this. A lot of people are asking me to become a judge, but I don't want that either now or in the future. ”
Regarding the reason behind choosing the word “Antekaz” in order to be a name for his platform, Omar Al Hosani explained that he was searching for an Arabic word that was clear instead of choosing a Arabic word and translating it into Arabic. He said: “On the field of playground, the anchor field has the function of linking defense and attack, and for me I I want to link the fans, referees, players and clubs. ”
