- First of all, it is obvious that we cannot drive without an audience. We therefore postpone the start of the season until June 2 and hope that the restrictions on larger gatherings have eased then, "says chairman Mikael Holmstrand in a press release.

The proposal to postpone the season start one month, until June 2, has been approved by all clubs in the electric series.

The decision means that the first four laps will be run later. To conclude the season, the quarterfinals will be demolished the coming season.

- To be able to end the season in a reasonable amount of time this autumn also means that we clear the quarterfinals. Should there be extended restrictions on public events, we have a number of different scenarios ready to be launched for that as well, says Holmstrand.

Another problem may be the availability of drivers as many compete in many different countries. Right now, it is unclear what the possibility of traveling between different countries looks like in the future.
