The former national team goalkeeper and now Khorfakkan, Mohamed Youssef, said: "The current distance training he is doing is enjoyable for him, despite the absence of competitions," describing it as very useful. He said, "It has contributed to maintaining his physical and professional fitness at a steady level."

Mohamed Youssef told «Emirates Today»: «he trains every day regularly in the space available in the house for him, in order to maintain the technical level for him, during the period of stopping sports activities, and in compliance with precautionary measures against the spread of the Corona virus.

He stressed that he «feels that his technical level is constant before stopping the training, and that this is due to the daily commitment to exercises in accordance with the advice of the technical staff».

He continued: «Training at home is fun, and I am constantly communicating with the technical staff, and the fact is that we look forward to this crisis ending soon, and that the competitions return to the stadiums and see the audience again in the stands, and there is no doubt that public health and human safety are more important than everything.

He continued: «Despite moving away from the atmosphere of the team, my physical and technical level is stable, after I adopted a training program under the supervision of the coach of the guards, the Serbian Goran, and under the supervision of the technical staff, and there is daily communication with the coach before and after training.

He added, "There is another communication with my goalkeepers, Mansour Ghuloom, and Saeed Khamis, on the phone, to exchange ideas that ensure fitness and flexibility, and it is a challenge we are taking in a period of quarantine, and secondly because it is our way to stay ready in the event of a resumption of football activity."

He continued, "We are happy with the qualitative shift that the team achieved in the second round of the Arab Gulf League, through which it gained very important points, and we are confident that we will achieve survival." He concluded by saying: “I invite, through (Emirates Today), everyone to stay at home, as this is of the utmost importance in maintaining the health of the children of society.”

"I am very confident that Khor Fakkan will succeed in surviving," he added.
