The Italian newspaper "Corriere della Sera" revealed that the match that brought together the Italian teams of Atlanta and Valencia, Spain, in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, caused a catastrophe.

"Certainly, this match may be an appropriate opportunity for the outbreak of the new Corona virus," which resulted in the death of at least 500 people from the masses, the newspaper quoted Dr. Fabiano de Marco, director of pulmonology at Papa Giovanni Hospital.

He added: "The Atlanta-Valencia match in San Siro was a biological bomb in the presence of forty thousand people from Bergamo who were screaming, hugging, and traveling by bus, car and train."

The newspaper pointed out that the match that was held at the "San Siro" stadium in Milan, Italy, on November 19, was attended by about 45 thousand spectators, days before the outbreak of the Corona virus, significantly.

The Spanish club announced on March 17 that 35% of its squad and its employees had positive tests, but without serious cases.
