The Turkish Boxing Association announced that the boxer Serhat Shallar Gular and the trainer Saifullah Domlubinar were infected with the Coruna virus, while the name of the third person was not announced.
The Turkish Federation said in a statement that it was awaiting the results of the tests for two other boxers who showed symptoms.
The Guardian newspaper stated that Gocek intends to file a complaint with the International Olympic Committee, as well as claiming the costs incurred by the Federation in the period prior to running the qualifying tournament.
